Supersoft is a 2-ply yarn consisting of 50% merino wool and 50% shetland wool.

Approximately 287 meters/314 yards per 50 gram

Supersoft can be knitted in 1 thread og several threads together.

1 thread at needles 3-3½ mm/US 2½-4 (Approx. 25 stitches = 10 cm. / 4 inches.)

2 threads at needles 4-4½/US 6-7 (Approx. 16 stitches = 10 cm. / 4 inches.)

The yarn was created as an alternative to traditional Shetland yarns. However, the content of merino contributes to making the yarn softer than pure Shetland yarns - hence the name supersoft.

Supersoft can be washed on a cold celicate wool program in the washingmachine. You will

You can use a washingmachine - on a cold delicate wool program. You will experience that the yarn ”blooms” and becomes ”supersoft” in the process.

Note: The yarn is delivered unwashed and can therefor contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye.
